EPB Contractor Critical After High Voltage Shock

A man is fighting for his life after hitting a high voltage line while installing fiber optic cable for EPB.
It happened in East Ridge around 3 pm Tuesday at the Lomenaque Apartments, 4145 Ringgold Rd.
East Ridge Fire and Rescue personnel say they reached the scene within one minute of the call and immediately began CPR on Jesse Steele from Chattanooga.
Spokesperson Erik Hopkins said Steele was rushed to Erlanger Medical Center where he is in critical condition.
