District 9 Neighborhood Meeting

Chattanooga Mayor Ron Littlefield will host the District 9 neighborhood meeting Thursday, January 31, 2008. District 9 is represented by Councilperson Debbie Gaines. The purpose of the meeting is to build stronger more unified neighborhoods through effective communication with citizens and neighborhood organizations.

“Great Neighborhoods are the bedrock of great cities. Such neighborhoods are founded upon the strength and mobilization of active neighborhood organizations, effective community stakeholders, and strategic and effective code enforcement in partnership with a responsive government,” said Mayor Ron Littlefield.

Administrators and representatives from all departments will be in attendance to address concerns of residents.

The meeting will be held Thursday, January 31, 5:30 p.m., in the Parkridge Hospital Community room, 2333 McCallie Avenue, Chattanooga. The community room is located in the Diagnostic center at Parkridge Hospital.
