April 17, 2007 - 4:36 PM

It's been one month since a Walker County 911 dispatcher went missing. Theresa Parker from LaFayette, Georgia, was reported last seen Wednesday night, March 21st, at her sister's house. Investigators have been searching for many days for clues in the case of the missing woman. Theresa Parker's husband, Sam Parker a former police sergeant, is not a suspect but is considered a person of interest in the investigation. Sam Parker was suspended without pay and later fired from the LaFayette Police Department for a violation not connected to the missing woman case. Fellow officer Ben Chaffin was arrested and also suspended without pay. His arrest was in connection to giving a false statement in the investigation of the missing 911 dispatcher.

NewsChannel 9 discovered the Parker's were in the process of getting a divorce and had a history of marital problems.
