Flash, Flash, Flash! Dr. Shock Fans Join Con Nooga 2010

Doctor Shock fans are joining forces with Con Nooga 2010, as they celebrate Shock Theater and the following that it spurred during it’s run on WTVC-TV 1968-1975.

Even after 35 years, WTVC NewsChannel 9 frequently receives inquiries and comments from viewers about the popular Dr. Shock, Dingbat and Nurse Goodbody. The trio provided humorous narratives and skits during commercial breaks of a late night movie every Saturday. Most fans could care less about the movie. They watched simply because of Dr. Shock and his entourage.

At Con Nooga, fans of Shock Theater are being asked to bring a tribute and seminar where other fans could unite and discuss the long ago show and the legend it left behind. Not only will there be a Shock Theater panel but numerous other seminars, workshops and guests representing all fandoms and fans alike.
