Strollers Recalled
One million baby strollers made by Maclaren are being recalled because of a hinge that can sever children's' fingers.
A dozen children reportedly had their fingertips amputated by the hinge.
Maclaren is recalling models sold since 1999.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission is advising parents to
immediately stop using their Maclaren strollers until they can get a repair
kit.
This recall was not set to be announced until Tuesday, so the precise model
numbers are unknown.
The company is offering free repair kits to fix the
stroller problem. Details are available at their website.
