No Criminal Charges in Shriners Dune Buggy Crash
Comments 0 | Recommend 0No criminal charges will be filed over a Shriners dune buggy that injured eight people when it ran into a crowd during a downtown Chattanooga parade. James Brooks was driving the buggy in circles when it brushed the rear of a yellow mini-car and ran into the crowd. Go HERE to see the video. Police at the time said it was a freak accident. Today they released video of the Aug. 11 crash, which they say shows better safety precautions need to be taken. Bret Alexander, an assistant district attorney in Hamilton County, says he watched the video three or four times and agreed with police that there was no evidence of criminal wrongdoing.
