Boat Capsizes, Three Missing

Search and rescue crews in Marion County have still not found three of the five people from a capsized boat late Saturday night.

The accident happened in the Nickajack Dam Tailwaters. TVA spill gates are open right now and the men's boat motor reportedly quit running and they were pulled into the turbulence. 

Crews located two of the men, who were taken to a local hospital for hypothermia. Investigators say they are now treating this as a recovery effort, not a rescue.

All five of the men on board the boat had on lifejackets.  Investigators think the boaters had been fishing at the time.

Thier identities have not been released, but they are believed to be from Dalton.
