LIFEWATCH-
The days of pausing at 11 a.m. on November 11 to remember the multitudes who've given their LIVES so that we can live in FREEDOM seem to be gone. But that says more about the state of our CULTURE than it does about Veterans' Day itSELF. For MANY of us, it's still vitally important to remember the sacrifices that have paid for the gift of freedom we enjoy today. One of those for whom the day is particularly meaningful is our guest, Patty Parks, herself a retired commander in the Navy-the national medal of honor museum is located at northgate mall
