CHATTANOOGA MARKET
this Sunday market-goers will get an opportunity to support the United Way by bringing in school supplies for their annual Stuff The Bus drive. Last year, approximately $6,000 in school supplies was collected at the Market. All supplies and proceeds donated benefit the Hamilton County PTA's Teacher Supply Depot. This year's goal is to increase Market donations to $10,000 in supplies. This year's Stuff the Bus Drive ends October 31 and the collection goal for 2012 is $40,000 in supplies.
The day will be a great, kid-friendly event for the entire family. Approximately 14 United Way partners will have booths set up throughout the Market with children's games, arts, crafts and healthy activities for children and their families to enjoy. Parents can also sign their toddlers up for free books and learning check-ups. Every child who completes a learning check up at the market that day will receive a free family pass for six to the Creative Discovery Museum.
Live music featured on the EPB Stage will be 12:30 Lynn and Lou Wamp and 2:00 The Vibe Dials.
