Georgia Governor Visits Iraq
Georgia Gov. Sonny Perdue is in Iraq visiting with troops there.
Perdue was one of four governors who made the trip and said Tuesday that the morale of the forces there is high.
"They feel like there is light at the end of the tunnel and they feel like they've made a difference," Perdue said on a conference call with reporters from the green zone in Iraq.
Perdue said he arrived from Kuwait on Tuesday. The trip was not announced in advance by Perdue's office.
Governors from Mississippi, Oregon and Wyoming were also on the trip.
It is Perdue's second trip to Iraq. He made another trip there in 2005.
