UPDATE: One Dead, Another Recovering After Shooting

A Walker County man is accused of shooting two people in Catoosa County, killing one of them. Terry Hagan, the woman's estranged husband, has been arrested.

It happened in Catoosa County near the Tennessee/Georgia state line around 8 pm Halloween.

When deputies arrived, they found a man, who has not been identified, shot in the arm. The unidentified woman was inside with a gunshot wound to the chest.

Both victims were taken to Erlanger, where the woman later died of her injuries.

Investigators located Hagan at a home in Walker County, where he was taken into custody and taken to the Catoosa County Jail.

Investigators say Hagan went to the home on State Line Road and confronted the man in the yard.  They say Hagan produced a .22 caliber revolver, shot the man in the arm, then entered the home where he shot his estranged wife.  We're told Hagan ran from the home to his car, which was about a block away.

Hagan is charged with murder and aggravated assault.

This marks the first homicide in Catoosa County this year.
