A trio of Chattanooga golfers made it through 36 holes of qualifying in the match play portion of the British Amateur played at Formby and West Lancashire Golf Clubs.  Stephan Jaeger, Fredrik Qvicker and Ben Rickett are joined by 73 others who will square off at Formby Wednesday through Saturday for the title.

"It is exciting for our program," said Head Coach Mark Guhne. "Just to make it this far is a dream for many golfers and it is amazing that our program has three student-athletes with an opportunity to win one of the most coveted championships in golf history."

The British Amateur was first competed in 1885.  The winner earns a spot in the 2010 Masters Championship.
