Chattanooga Auctioneer Wins State Championship
SOLD!!!SOLD!!!SOLD!!! Local Chattanooga Auctioneer Steven Holt wins the coveted title of 2012 Tennessee State Auctioneer Bid Calling Champion. The event was held in Nashville, Tennessee on December 4, 2011 and grades auctioneers on chant, rhythm, presence and auction ability. For decades this event has brought bid callers from every region of Tennessee to compete for the coveted title of top auctioneer.
This is Mr. Holt's 25th year in the Auction Industry, he and his wife Paige are the owners of, Compass Auctions & Real Estate, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, which provides professional auction services for Fundraising & Charitable Events, Estate, Senior Downsizing, Farm & Construction Equipment, Land Auctions and professional Online auction services, within the Chattanooga area and nationwide.
Mr. Holt is also the corporate auctioneer for National Powersports Auctions and NPA head Auctioneer for Harley Davidson Motorcycles.
Additionally, Mr. Holt is a featured Auctioneer on the very popular T.V. show Mecum's Muscle Car Auction on Discovery channel's Velocity network. With the explosion in popularity of Auction television shows about the Auction Industry, Mr. Holt hopes, that by winning this title of Top Auctioneer in the State of Tennessee, that this will be another positive reflection for the Chattanooga Region and the Professional Auction Industry.
