Arrest In Baby Death

Chattanooga Police have arrested a woman in connection of the death of a two month old infant back in May.

36-year-old Regina Corbin has been charged with felony murder and aggravated child abuse on a baby she was babysitting at the time.

Chattanooga Police Homicide Investigators have arrested Regina Corbin 36, of Chattanooga and charged her with Felony Murder and Aggravated Child Abuse in connection of the death of a two month old infant.

According to a police spokesperson, Corbin had been babysitting the infant while the baby's mother was at work. When the mother returned home, she found her baby unresponsive, and began to perform CPR.

The baby was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the hospital.

An autopsy showed the infant sustained multiple blunt force injuries.
