NewsChannel 9'er Honored by Big Brothers Big Sisters

NewsChannel 9's Janiece Bolles, an Account Executive in our Sales Dept., received a special honor Thursday night.

Janiece was named a "Mentor of the Year" by Big Brothers Big Sisters.

NewsChannel 9's Janiece Bolles and her Little Sister, Raven, at a Big Brothers Big Sisters event.

Janiece has been a Big Sister to Raven for several years now and it is clear that two have formed a special relationship. Kevin Sims, NewsChannel 9's "Wednesday's Child Correspondent" said, "This is what BBBS is all about. Thanks Janiece for changing this little girl's life & congrats!"

Big Brothers Big Sisters targets the children who need us most, including those living in single parent homes, growing up in poverty and coping with parental incarceration. Making these matches, and performing all the background work involved with them, is possible because of donations.
