Blue Cross Jobs On The Line

     106 people at Blue Cross Blue Shield are nervous tonight about their jobs. Communications director Mary Thompson says that many positions are on the line.

     They are spread across the Volunteer State Health Plan. That program handles Tenn Care claims. But Thompson stressed the company will try to work those jobs into other places and is vying for more contracts.

   She also pointed out back in March when 93 potential positions were on the chopping block, only eight people lost their jobs.

   The final layoffs happen at the end of November.
