A child's finger is cut with a razor blade at a book fair at Whitwell Elementary Saturday morning.
School officials say the third grade girl found the razor after it fell out of a book she had purchased at the fair.
Now the book and the razor have been turned over to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigations.
In the meantime, the book fair was shut down today and all other book fairs in Marion County are suspended until further notice.
Superintendent Mark Griffith says the girl is fine, but her family took her to get checked out just to be safe.
Griffith says the school system doesn't want to take any chances.
The Marion County School district is asking parents of students who purchased books at the fair to return them to Whitwell Elementary School on Monday morning.
Students will receive a refund at that time for the books they bought.
