UPDATE: Traffic Stop on I-75 Leads to Man Hunt

Newschannel9 is following developing news out of north Bradley County.Arguello J. Mallory of Jeffersonville Georgia was taken into custody Thursday night by a K-9 unit for the Bradley County Sheriff's Office after he ran from a state trooper at a traffic stop on I-75 near exit 33.

Sheriff Tim Gobble, sheriff's deputies and state troopers searched for Mallory for over four hours. He was found hiding under a bridge near the Hiwassee River when a K-9 picked up the scent and led deputies to the suspect.

The Highway Patrol has charged Mallory, who is 26 years-old, with possession of marijuana for resale and resisting arrest. The second occupant of the vehicle, Kenneth Hill, 29, of Atlanta, is also charged with possession of marijuana for resale.

Mallory was taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries before he was brought to the Bradley County jail, where both remain in custody today.
