UPDATE: Bridgeport Shooting Victim Speaks Out

Four people are shot in Bridgeport Alabama and authorities say the suspect is armed and on the run.  It happened around 2 am Friday morning, as four friends left Fat Boys Bar and Grill.

Eric Bradford says he and his 3 friends were just leaving the bar after a few beers.  But when they walked outside, he says a gunman was waiting and opened fire.  Now, four victims recovering, and one dangerous man is on the streets.

Friday, we caught up with Bradford at his home in Stevenson, "Usually in Bridgeport town it's real quiet, but it wasn't last night."

Instead, gunshots blasted through the parking lot around 2 am.  One bullet hit Eric Bradford in the shoulder as he walked out of Fat Boys Bar and Grill.  "We come outside and the guy was standing on the sidewalk and just started shooting 4 of us."

The Jackson County Sheriff's Department says the gunman is 28 year old Christopher Allen Kerr Junior.

Bradford says they'd just walked out of the bar when they saw Kerr standing about 3 feet away.  "I was real lucky, especially being that close to somebody shooting, yeah I was lucky."

Bradford says he didn't even realize he'd been hit, but started running, then noticed the blood.  "Run, I just didn't run fast enough I don't guess."

He says as he ran he heard more gunfire, and knew his three friends were in trouble.  When he came back he saw blue lights, and found 3 more gunshot victims.  All four were taken to Erlanger as investigators searched the scene.  Now, they say Kerr is on the run, and armed.  Jackson County Chief Deputy Chuck Phillips says, "He's driving a 1994 teal thunderbird, and is considered armed and dangerous, with 3 guns in his car, including a shotgun and a pistol."

Bradford says he doesn't know Kerr and that he didn't say a word as he pulled the trigger.  Investigators are also trying to find the reason behind what this victim calls random violence.  "If he'll shoot 4 random people, he'll shoot more people, that's the why I feel about it."

The Sheriff's Office tells us the 3 victims are Josh Mason, Derrick Hughes, and Steven Lawson.

Both Mason and Hughes have been released from Erlanger.

We're told Lawson had to be airlifted because of a gunshot to his stomach and went through surgery today.
