Another person arrested for trying to have sex with a child they met online, is going to jail.
Jerry Burton has pleaded guilty, but mentally ill, to attempted child molestation.
The 67 year old retired veteran was arrested when he drove from his home in Decherd, Tennessee to Whitfield County.
Burton thought he was meeting a young girl he he had been talking to online.
Instead, he was met by police.
Burton has been sentenced to 10 years, with three in prison and seven on probation.
