Car Crash Injures Two

A single car accident sent two women to the hospital with serious injuries.

Just before 6:30pm a van driven by Joe Dean and Pamela Sizemore was travelling on Main Street. Dean lost control of the vehicle, causing it to hit an embankment and go through a yard, stopping only after hitting a second embankment.

Dean had to be cut out of the vehicle and Sizemore was able to walk away cuts to the face and legs. Dean sustained more extensive injuries and she is listed in serious condition.

Chattanooga Police say, Dean advised investigators that she experienced brake failure but a traffic investigator was called in to determine the exact cause of the accident. No charges have been filed.
