Changes in Rhea County

Rhea County has a new superintendent tonight. Jerry Levengood, who is the currently the principal at Rhea County High School, will take office July first. He's replacing Dallas Smith who is retiring after 44 years in the school system. Board Chairman Ron Masterson tells NC9 it came down to two candidates, and took four separate votes to get a majority.
