American Airlines has announced that it will add two nonstop flights from Chattanooga to Dallas / Ft. Worth.

Beginning November 2, 2008 flights departing Chattanooga will be available at 12:20 pm and 5:00 pm. Returning flights will depart from Dallas at 1:35 pm and 8:55 pm.

"Local travelers make Dallas a top destination every year," said Mike Landguth, President and CEO of the Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport Authority. "This additional flight will allow passengers more convenient options when heading west from Chattanooga, and give passengers who frequent
this flight more options when booking travel."
