Hannah Montana Look-a-Like Contest

Raising Money for T.C. Thompson

March 24, 2008 - 10:06AM

Attention all Hannah Montana fans: A Hannah Montana look-a-like contest will be held at the LaFayette, Georgia Wal-Mart. The contest will take place on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at 11 a.m. Contestants will model their best pop star attire, all while raising funds for the Children's Miracle Network to benefit T.C. Thompson Children's Hospital at Erlanger.

The early entry fee is $10 and the deadline is April 7. Entry fee for the day of the show will be $20 and all contestants must be registered by 10:30 a.m. Prizes and ribbons will be awarded to the winners.

"This is a great way for CMN sponsors to raise money for their local children's hospital," says Magen Hooper, Children's Miracle Network Coordinator at Erlanger. "They are always coming up with fun and creative ideas to help raise the most they can. We greatly appreciate their efforts."

Children's Miracle Network is the coalition of premier children's hospitals. With the funds raised, these hospitals are able to provide state-of-the-art care, life-saving research and preventative education for children and their families. Their efforts ensure that hospitals benefit from the dedication and generosity of local, regional and national sponsors.

As a Children's Miracle Network Hospital, T.C. Thompson Children's Hospital is able to provide a unique environment of healing for all children, regardless of their financial situation. One hundred percent of the money raised locally for CMN by Wal-Mart employees and customers goes towards the enhancement of Children's Hospital programs.

For more information or to make a donation, please contact the T.C. Thompson Foundation Office at (423) 778-6600.

Those interested in entering the contest can pick up a registration form and a copy of the rules from the fitting room associate at the Wal-Mart store located on 2625 Hwy. 27 N. in LaFayette, Georgia. To learn more, contact Kathy or Anita at 706-639-4900.
