SETPAC Announces Chattanooga Candidate Endorsements

The Southeast Tennessee Political Action Committee (SETPAC) announced today they will endorse Chattanooga City Mayor, Ron Littlefield; District 1 City Councilwoman, Linda Bennett; District 3 City Council candidate, Pam Ladd; District 6 City Councilwoman, Carol Berz; District 7 City Councilman, Manuel Rico; District 8 City Council candidate, Andrae McGary; and District 9 City Council candidate, Jackie Thomas.

"After holding several informative forums over the past few weeks with all of the candidates and after much closed discussion, the majority of the group felt the above candidates possessed the most potential and showed the greatest strengths in their respected races," said Joan Mize president of SETPAC. "We feel these individuals represent good government through their high standards and outstanding leadership."

SETPAC members voted anonymously Friday to determine which candidates to endorse for the March 3 election. City Council candidates received $250 endorsements and Mayor Ron Littlefield received a $500 endorsement towards his campaign for Chattanooga City Mayor.
