Cops Make Major Burglary Bust

Chattanooga Police Property Crimes Investigators have arrested four subjects in connection with seventeen burglaries, theft and vandalism in Chattanooga between September and November 2007.

Timothy Kernea, Clifford Harriod, Shane Wright and William Pickett all of Chattanooga are facing charges of Burglary, Thefts over $500, theft under $500, Felony Vandalism and Vandalism.

According to investigators the four men have burglarized and vandalized numerous car washes, auto parts store, storage facilities, Lookout Valley High School and Mountain Manor Restaurant. Although most of these businesses were in the Lookout Valley community, these subjects committed several burglaries on Rossville Blvd, Lee Hwy and Hwy 58.

A Chattanooga police spokesperson says the four are no strangers to law enforcement; all of them have past criminal histories involving thefts and burglaries.

This investigation broke last Friday and Investigators Bryden, Taylor, Early and Grubb spent most of the weekend recovering stolen property and apprehending these four suspects. To date approximately $5,000 dollars in stolen tools and other property has been recovered and more is expected to be recovered.
