Fire Departments Team Up for ''Forgotten Child''

Hamilton County EMS and Hamilton County Volunteer Fire Departments have been invited to participate in the Forgotten Child Fund this year by the Chattanooga Fire Department. This will be a joint effort between Chattanooga Fire, Chattanooga Police, Hamilton County EMS and Hamilton County Volunteer Fire Departments.

At every designated station (list of locations below), a box for the Forgotten Child Fund will be placed for toy donations.

This is a worthy cause and would like to invite the entire Hamilton County community to participate by purchasing a new, unopened toy for either a boy or girl and take it to the most convenient station location of your choice.

These boxes will be picked up on December 12, 2008. This year, the Forgotten Child Fund is projected to provide a good Christmas for over 5,000 children in Hamilton County.

The Forgotten Child Fund representatives will also be collecting toys in front of Sam's Club on November 22-23, 2008.
