Man Charged in Deadly Accident

A man in Jackson County now faces homicide charges.
Police say Michael Joseph Phelps of Woodville ran over two people on Sunday, killing a man and injuring a woman.
He's now in the Jackson County jail in Scottsboro without bond.
Police have not said what Phelps motive was in the incident that happened in a neighbor's front yard off of County Road 8.
