    Fire Damages Lakesite Home

    Comments 0 | Recommend 0

Firefighters with Dallas Bay Volunteer and other several other companies spent the morning working to snuff out a house fire in the Lakesite area. Just before 9 a-m a neighbor called 9-1-1 to report the Bay Hill Road house on fire. When firefighters got to the scene they saw heavy fire coming from the back of the house and smoke spilling from the eaves on the front.

Right now fire investigators are still looking into the cause of the blaze that started in the kitchen area, but the homeowner, Patricia Lambardo, says she had emptied her ashtray into the kitchen garbage before she left for work.

Damages are estimated at 30-thousand dollars. No one was hurt. And, Lambardo, who has insurance says she'll be staying with friends, for now.
