Parents Want Daughter Back From "Vampire"

NewsChannel 9 has uncovered many threats in the past reportedly made by a self-proclaimed vampire who claims non-violence. We first told you about Jonathon "The Impaler" Sharkey yesterday, his arrest in Grundy County and his property in the woods going up in flames.

In the course of our investigation, we found several holes in Sharkey's story. This afternoon, we got our hands on these warrants out of Minnesota, one of which is a felony warrant for harassment. We've also come across death threats the 44-year-old Sharkey made on several people, including judges.

And we found the parents of an 18-year-old woman The Impaler calls his wife. Her parents want her back.

"I'm so worried, I just want her home," Teresa Lucchetti said one day after she and her husband drove from Indianapolis to find their daughter, Meagan Cochran. Lucchetti says two days after graduating from high school, her daughter who has a mental illness, left Indianapolis to live in the woods of Grundy County with Jonathan Sharkey.

Lucchetti says her daughter has been off her medicine for more than a year and fears Sharkey has preyed on her mania.

"And Jonathon totally manipulated that," she said. "He fed into everything that she was possibly she was possibly thinking, telling her she was right, she was psychic, she was a 'Psi Vampire'."

We came across a picture of Megan on Sharkey's website. It appears to be on his land in Grundy County where he refers to Megan as Queen Amaya Sharkey. The caption says she is shooting a picture of Pope Benedict.

Her stepfather is livid at Sharkey, Indiana and Tennessee police.

Ross Lucchetti said, "No agency has been able to stop this guy. With all the warnings we've given them, all the information that we've given them and the extensive history this guy's had over the last six to eight years preying on young women, underage women, inviting them into a cult, a Satanic cult and having the girls do his dirty work."

Lucchetti closely watched Sharkey in court. His stepdaughter also has a charge against her of reckless endangerment for firing a gun at someone on the property Sharkey says will be for vampires, witches and pagans.But no one can find Cochran.

Meagan's mother named many concerns that her daughter, who turned 18 in December, is off her bi-polar medication and she feels Sharkey manipulated her greatly out here in the woods. She even took a protective order against her own parents. But they have spoken with her and they believe she wants to come home. Teresa Lucchetti told us, "I do know that, as most mothers know, they got that little umbilicial cord, that she's really scared."

Meanwhile, in Grundy Court this morning, Sharkey opted to stay in Tennessee. He will have a hearing next week about his felony harassment and misdemeanor coercion charges out of Minnesota. We spoke with him Tuesday in jail.

"If I am attacked, I will defend my country, which includes the U.S., my people, my family," Sharkey said.

Sharkey say he's an American but also claims Vampire Nation. He also denied being a Satanist, but a quick check on his website shows he is. Meanwhile, we also learend of two additional warrants out of Indiana for Sharkey. They are for making threats on an authority figure.
