Early Voting Hours Extended

The Hamilton County election commission is changing the hours when you can vote early at the satellite locations, because of the high turnout..

So instead of opening at 10 a.m. at Northgate and the Brainerd Rec Center, the commission has decided to open the doors at 9 a.m. giving early voters an extra hour to cast their ballots..

The change will start Saturday and last through the end of early voting, which is October 30th..

Once again, beginning Saturday, October 25th, you will be able to vote between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. at Northgate Mall and at the Brainerd Recreation Center off Moore Road..

The hours at the Election Commission are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday..

All centers are closed on Sunday..
