Elf on the Shelf to Benefit Crisis Center

Have you ever wondered how Santa really knows if your naughty or nice? It's all because of The Elf on the Shelf! Discover the magic at a book signing with author, Chanda Bell at Charlotte's Web on Thursday evening, November 6, 2008, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Book sets include a pixie scout elf waiting for families to adopt them. After the elves are made part of a family and named, they become magical and fly home to the North Pole every night to report directly to Santa. Additional information available at www.elfontheshelf.com.

Charlotte's Web is located in Riverview, specializing in on-site embroidery services and personalized gifts. The store is honored to be an official Elf Adoption Center and honored to work with Partnership for Families, Children and Adults. Ten percent of all sales on Thursday's open house event, Cocoa and Cocktails, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, will be donated to Partnership's Crisis Resource Center.

The Crisis Resource Center provides safe and secure shelter to victims of domestic and family violence, sexual assault and chronically homeless women. Trained staff offers counseling to victims, assistance with legal matters and shelter. For more information, visit www.partnershipfca.com.
