The State of Tennessee Department of Transportation is closing the Market Street Bridge for emergency inspection and repair. This closure will begin tonight, Wednesday, April 02, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. and will reopen by midnight.

Jennifer Osborne with TDOT say it is not a dangerous situation. She says there is a loose grate that needs to be welded back in place.
