Area Officers Respond to Reports Officer was Shot

Newschannel 9 is following new developments in the case of an early morning emergency phone call that turned out to be no real emergency, at all.  Our crew was on the scene as area officers responded with everything they had.

Hamilton County deputies kicked in the door of the house on Gable Brook Drive, in the Ooltewah area.

Early indications were that someone had been shot at this home, possibly an officer. As it turned out -- that was not the case. NewsChannel9 has confirmed that no one there had been shot. But, someone had, in fact, made the phone call that sent officers rushing to the scene.
