Whitfield County Employee of the Month

Whitfield County employees congratulate Amanda Stewart as March 2008 Employee of the Month.

Amanda began working for the Whitfield County Juvenile Court on May 8, 2006. She previously worked as an intake officer with the Elbert Shaw Regional Youth Detention Center where she still works part-time.

Amanda brought relevant experience and knowledge working with juveniles in Whitfield and surrounding counties. She worked (and continues to work) directly with the juveniles and parents we serve. Amanda currently serves as an employee in the Whitfield County Juvenile Court Clerk's office preparing subpoenas, summons, and processes cases docketed with the Juvenile Court. She currently serves in court two days a week, recording hearing notes, closing dispositions, and preparing future court dockets for Judge Blaylock.

Amanda is a model employee dedicated to bringing a high level of customer service, commitment to her job, and a level of professionalism above and beyond the scope of her regular job duties. She demonstrates consistent desire and dedication to the juvenile court and serves as a model to Whitfield County as a whole. This level of professionalism is admired by her peers resulting in her praise on a daily basis and ultimately leading to her well-desired nomination for employee of the month.
