Tractor Trailer Fire Shuts Down Interstate 24 In Grundy County

The Tennessee Highway Patrol has confirmed to NewsChannel9 that both directions of Interstate 24 are shut down in Grundy County after a vehicle fire.

Dispatchers tell us at Dollar General truck caught fire.

Officials tell us there are no injuries in this accident.

They are re-routing traffic westbound, heading towards Nashville, at Exit 134 (the Monteagle/Sewamee exit).

Easbtbound traffic is being re-routed at Exit 127 (the Pelham/Winchester exit).
