NEW YORK (AP) -- Entertainment is looking like it could be light at Donald Trump's upcoming Miss USA pageant. Performers and judges are trying to distance themselves from Trump following his controversial comments about Mexican immigrants. Flo Rida (flo RY'-duh), the highest profile performer who was set to take the stage at Miss USA, said yesterday he's backing out. Country singer Craig Wayne Boyd and pop singer Natalie La Rose say they're out too. There are no more announced performers. Football Hall of Famer Emmitt Smith and HGTV show host Jonathan Scott were supposed to judge and also say they will not be participating.

TV LAND PULLS `DUKES OF HAZZARD'
NEW YORK (AP) -- Those good ol' boys of the "Dukes of Hazzard" are getting canned because of the Confederate flag. The famous muscle car from the series, the General Lee, has the Stars and Bars painted on the roof. TV Land confirms the 1980s action comedy is being pulled from the schedule. Warner Brothers has also stopped producing the toy version of the orange Dodge Charger, like the one Luke and Bo Duke drove while running from the law.

PAUL RUDD GETS STAR ON HOLLYWOOD WALK OF FAME
LOS ANGELES (AP) -- It's a big honor for "Ant-Man." Paul Rudd has gotten his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Rudd stars as the incredible shrinking hero in the upcoming Marvel film. Rudd says he remembers visiting Hollywood Boulevard as a kid and looking at the all the sidewalk stars and thinking, "who's that?" He jokes that now people will be asking the same question about his star. Ant-Man opens later this month.

LAURENCE FISHBURNE TO STAR IN 'ROOTS' MINISERIES REMAKE
LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Laurence Fishburne is going back to his "Roots." A-and-E says Fishburne will play writer Alex Haley in the remake of the mini-series. The new project will draw on the late Haley's novel, along with new research. The original Roots was a ratings smash when it aired on ABC in 1977. No air date or other casting has been announced yet for the "Roots" update.
