Hutcheson Announces Management Team Changes
Hutcheson Medical Center announced organizational changes to its executive management team on Monday.
The performance-based team serves under the direction of Farrell Hayes, President and CEO of Hutcheson. The hospital is managed by GB Health Management, a Chattanooga-based health care management and consulting firm founded by Mike Aiken, MD.
Sandra Siniard, RN, BSN, MHA, CPHQ, ACM, has been promoted to Hutcheson’s Interim Chief Nursing Officer. Siniard received her Bachelor’s in Nursing and Masters of Health Administration from University of Phoenix. She has over thirty years of progressive nursing and administrative management experience at Hutcheson Medical Center, most recently serving as Director of Case Management and Clinical Informatics.
Scott Radeker, MS, NR-P, has been appointed Vice President of Emergency Services at Hutcheson Medical Center. He will oversee Hutcheson’s Emergency Department, pre-hospital services, and lead the hospital’s initiative to obtain trauma center designation. Scott Radeker received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Organizational Management from Covenant College and his Masters of Science in Health Administration from the University of St. Francis. He previously served as Vice President of Operations at Hutcheson.
Kevin Hopkins, BSRC, RRT has been named Vice President of Operations for Hutcheson Medical Center. Among some of the areas he will lead include Hutcheson’s clinical services, pharmacy, radiology, IT, and facility management. Hopkins received his Bachelors of Science in Respiratory Care at Independence University and began his career as a Respiratory Therapist at Hutcheson in 1996. He later was promoted to manager of respiratory therapy and during his 18 year tenure at Hutcheson has achieved various leadership positions. Hopkins most recently served as Administrator of Clinical Services.
Stacey Kaufmann, MBA has been promoted to Vice President of Physician Services and Communications. In her role, she manages physician recruiting and contracting, oversees the hospital’s outpatient medical clinics, and directs Hutcheson’s marketing and public relations communications. Kaufmann received both her Bachelors of Journalism in Advertising and Masters of Business Administration from the University of Georgia. She previously served as the hospital’s Administrator of Physician Services and Communications.
Mike Brady remains in his current role of Director of Physician Relations in which he serves as a liaison between physicians and administration. Brady joined Hutcheson’s executive management team in 2012.
Cathy Hulsey has been named Hutcheson’s interim manager of Human Resources and Risk Management. Hulsey joined Hutcheson in 1992 and worked in various administrative roles, including benefit administration. She most recently oversaw Hutcheson’s Risk Management program.
Susan Howard has been promoted to Hutcheson’s Manager of Accounting. Howard graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelors of Accounting and has over twenty years of experience in the accounting world, including serving as a Medicare cost accountant, Medicare compliance internal auditor, field auditor, senior auditor, and Appeals Specialist. She most recently served as a Senior Auditor with BlueCross BlueShield and Cahaba prior to joining Hutcheson in 2013.
Zoila Leon, RN, MSN has been promoted to Director of Hutcheson’s Emergency Department. Leon obtained both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Southern Adventist University and brings over 34 years of nursing experience to this role, most notably in emergency medicine and neonatal ICU care. Leon joined Hutcheson in 2011 as an emergency department staff nurse and was subsequently promoted to charge nurse before accepting the position of ED Director.
Director of Pharmacy Holly Trotter, PharmD and Director of Information Services Ruth Wright will serve as the hospital’s Co-Compliance Officers.
