Tammy Pietrzak Joins Parkridge Valley as ACNO/COO
Darrell Moore, President and CEO of Parkridge Health System, announced that Tammy Pietrzak, BSN, has joined Parkridge Valley as Associate Chief Nursing Officer/Chief Operating Officer. Pietrzak comes to the Parkridge system from a position as Compliance Manager of Behavioral Services at Mission Hospital in Asheville, N.C. She joins CEO Brennan Francois and CFO Mary Margaret Halverson on the administrative team at Parkridge Valley.
Pietrzak has over 35 years of clinical and managerial experience in healthcare, largely in the field of behavioral health. Prior to her work at Mission Hospital, Pietrzak served as the Director of Inpatient Services and Regional Behavioral Health Line Leader with Tennova Healthcare. Before joining Tennova, Pietrzak held leadership positions in behavioral health programs at Peninsula Behavioral Health in Knoxville, as well as Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. She is a Certified Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse, and a member of the Sigma Theta Tau honor society. Pietrzak is a member of the Tennessee Organization of Nurse Executives and a member of the Tennessee Hospital Association Psychiatric Section Steering Team.
Pietrzak earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio, a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Miami University in Ohio, and an Associate of Science in Nursing from Kettering College of Medical Arts in Ohio. Pietrzak and her husband have two daughters. “I’m excited to be in Chattanooga and working with the outstanding team at Parkridge Valley Hospital,” Pietrzak said.
