Teenagers Arrested For Narrow Bridge Fire
Chattanooga fire investigators have made a break in the case of who is behind burning the old Narrow Bridge Restaurant.
Fire investigators arrested four teenagers for their connection to this fire.
And all four of the teenagers are girls.
The arrests happened after fire investigators gathered information from eyewitnesses on the scene. The land around the old restaurant is now Heritage Park.
Captain James Whitmire says parents of two of the girls brought their daughters in voluntarily for questioning.
One mother says she had taken her two daughters and their two friends to the park. Fire investigators say while the mother sat in her car reading, the girls went over to the old building and at some point started the fire.
Investigators located the other two girls today.
Fire investigators charged all four with arson, reckless endangerment and reckless burning. They all went to the Juvenile Detention Center for booking.
All of the girls are from the north Georgia area.
Two are 15 years old, one is 14 and one is 13 years old.
