Murder Suspect Confesses

A jury is considering the fat of two gang members accused of murder.

There was dramatic testimony in the courtroom today as one of the menadmitted he killed Adrain Patton at the direction of a fellow gang member.

Suspected gang leader Michael Daniels (known as "Mike Mike") is accused of ordering Timothy Evans to kill Patton in 2006. Both men are on trial together.

Tim Evans, also known as "Tim Boo" took the stand today.

On the witness stand Evans said stand, "Mike Mike walked to the back of Adrian Patton's truck and said handle that (expletive deleted), Pyru (Pimps in Red Uniform)."

Evans said he asked, "What do you mean?"

He testified in the courtroom that Mike Mike told him, "Kill that nigger."

Then the prosecution asked Evans, "Did you murder Adrian Patton?

Evans replied, "Yes."

Prosecutors say that Daniels was mad at Patton because he believed Patton had fired shots into his sister's house.

Security is tight for the trial with a metal detector set up outside the courtroom. And yesterday court officers refused admittance to some individuals who were wearing red clothing.

The jury has been sequestered for the trial.

Daniels is already serving 37 months for federal gun crimes.
