Early Voting Begins for Georgia Runoff
Early voting is under way in most counties in Georgia.
Voters will cast ballots beginning today in the runoff for the U.S. Senate race between Republican Saxby Chambliss and Democratic challenger Jim Martin.
They also will decide runoff elections including the Georgia State Appeals Court race and the Public Service Commission's District 4.
The runoff is set for December 2.
Both Chambliss and Martin are looking for new ways to coax weary Georgia voters back to the polls next month in one of the nation's most hotly contested Senate races.
In north Georgia, other runoffs include Lookout Mountain Superior Court Judge, Dade County Chief Magistrate and Whitfield County Magistrate.
