New Website Promises to Lower Grocery Bills

You might be able to find special deals at some grocery stores and clip coupons for others -- but how would you like to *know* your one-stop at the grocery store will really save you the most?

A new website is promising to do just that.

Gerald Buckley has big ideas, most of which are posted on the walls of his office. They keep him focused on the prize -- his web site called Grocio, where you can actually comparison shop grocery stores.

How did he ever come up with the idea?

Gerald Buckley says, "It was out of need. We had this expensive grocery bill and thought there has to be a solution to this."

But Gerald quickly learned. There was comparison shopping for just about everything BUT groceries.  No wonder, there are about 36-thousand stores nationwide, each with 120-thousand items. But Gerald finally figured it out, and Grocio will be up and running by the end of the month.

Buckley says, "Type in your grocery list and it tells you the least expensive checkout for those grocery items."

Gerald's idea won the Entrepreneurial Spirit Award last year in Tulsa, Oklahoma. That gave him money, a downtown office and business coaching.  Customers are already signing up for Grocio all over the country because this site does more than comparison shop.

Buckley says, " I want to stress that there's no running around to different grocery stores. Grocio will take your individual shopping list and tell you the least expensive store -- that day -- for all your specific items.
