Car Chase Leads to Crash Involving GSP
Comments 0 | Recommend 0A Georgia State Patrol officer was involved in an accident while involved in a car chase.
According to Corporal Burnette with the GSP in Calhoun, Trooper First Class Michael Hall was helping Murray County Sheriff's Office chase a Red 1985 Chevrolet C-10 pickup with GA Tag #AIS7039 pickup last night on Georgia Highway 2 north of 225.
Burnette says the truck was driving reckless by running stop signs, passing in curves, and cutting off other vehicles.
During the pursuit, Hall lost control of his car, and hit a Chevrolet Tahoe.. Both the driver and passenger in the SUV had to go to the hospital and were later released.
The red truck being chased got away and the GSP is asking for your help finding it. If you have any information, GSP in Calhoun at (706) 624-1477.
