East Hamilton Still Without Lighted Field
East Hamilton High School head football coach, Ted Gatewood, has announced that East Hamilton’s game against Signal Mountain will be played at Finley Stadium Thursday, Aug. 26, at 7:30pm.
Players in NewsChannel 9's Sideline Wrapup Challenge are reminded that the deadline for "picking" the winner of this week's East Hamilton vs Signal Mtn. game is Thursday at 6 pm.
Hamilton County's newest high school is still without a lighted football field.
Construction of East Hamilton’s football field is nearly complete, however lights are not scheduled to be installed until later this season, at which time the school can host home football games.
The stadium including bleachers, concession stand, restrooms, and fieldhouse will follow next year as the CaneRaiser’s Booster Club continues fundraising efforts for the main athletic stadium as well as softball, football, and soccer fields.
