Four football players have been suspended at Bledsoe County High School as a result of a hazing incident last week. Superintendent Philip Kiper has been investigating the case all week. He told us today that about a dozen players total will be punished.
Four will receive three days suspension, meaning they will not be able to play in tomorrow night's game against Uppermen.
About seven others will receive one day of in-school suspension.
This comes just a day after the head coach, Hubert Roberson was suspended for seven days without pay for leaving the team unattended during athletic period. That is when freshmen players say they were forced by the seniors to beat each other up.
Today we talked with the parent of a student at the school who's concerned about the incident and the proper punishemnt.
