Ooltewah Woman Dies in Car Crash

A young woman dies in a traffic accident on Highway 58 Saturday evening.

According to the Hamilton County sheriff's office, around 7:00, a 23-year-old was at the Intersection of Highway 58 and Mahan Gap Road. Authorities say she pulled out in front of another car, travelling northbound on Highway 58, when they crashed.

Rhonda Morgan, 23, of Ooltewah was pronounced dead on the scene.

Medics took the driver of the other car to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The investigation into the crash continues.
