Pedestrian HIt

A pedestrian was crossing Highway 58 near Oak Hill Drive outside of the marked crosswalk when she was struck by a Ford F-150 driven by Daniel Rodriguez, age 37. According to investigators, the pedestrian had a strong odor of alcohol on her person and they were only able to obtain her first name, which she advised was Mary. She was transported to the hospital by EMS and treated for a broken left leg.
Rodriguez was cited for Driver’s License Law (expired), Financial Responsibility (expired insurance card), and Registration Violation (obstructed tag).
