Arrest in Home Invasion, Sexual Assault
Comments 0 | Recommend 0An arrest was made in the home invasion that occurred Thursday in an exclusive North Chattanooga neighborhood.
Chattanooga Police Major Crimes Investigators arrested Tracy A. Roberson late last night and charged him with aggravated rape, aggravated robbery, especially aggravated burglary, false imprisonment, theft over $10000, and theft over a $1000.
Police say they were called to 1104 Centennial Drive around 5:30 am Thursday morning on a reported home invasion. They found a woman who had been bound by duct tape.
The woman told police that she was awakened by an intruder in the home. She said the intruder bound her with duct tape, ransacked the home and then sexually assaulted her.
The woman was house-sitting for the owners of the home who were not there at the time. The items that may have been taken have not been determined.
