Suspected Hospital Thieves Arrested

Calhoun, Ga. police officers have arrested two women in connection with several break-ins at Gordon Hospital.

The arrests came after a traffic stop was made around 2:15am Saturday morning. Officers say they discovered several items in the suspect's vehicle, and believed them to be stolen from vehicles parked at Gordon Hospital.

The stop was made after a 911 operator spotted a female going through a vehicle parked near the 911 complex. After returning to Gordon Hospital with the suspects, officers were able to confirm that six vehicles had been entered.

Arrested were Jessica Lynn Towe, 27, of Ranger, Ga. and Harmony Ann Ball, 23, of Holding WV. Both suspects face numerous charges of entering auto, possession of tools for the commission of a crime, as well as various drug related charges.

The suspects are also being investigated on several other incidents of theft within the City of Calhoun.

Both suspects remain in the Gordon County Jail with further charges pending.
